I know this website is no way the cutest, cleanest, prettiest or even nice but for now it's a (outdated) holding page. If I'm pure transparent I set it up 2 years ago for a funding application and it kinda shows...you get <= what you => are

Times are changing and this September 2021, I will be coding from scratch a new one and it will be transformed.

And gorgeous.
(with many more pics of work I've been making this year {I know!})

So. sorry if you are seeing it in this state but at least you will know you were there from the start  :)
>
A little about me is that I'm an untrained/self-taught artist who started making work 4/5 years ago alongside jobs. There was no big start, it just happened slowly slowly with street performance, outdoor rituals and processions. Little things at a time with home-made costumes. These slowly moved into making work in galleries and doing more in collaboration and different spaces.
>
Due to pandemic and health things I don't think I'll be doing much performance work again. Or definitely not like what it was. But that's ok cos one door closes === another one === opens ...etc.
>
I started learning more about textiles, hand-sewing and stitch since autumn of lockdown. It felt really right and exciting. Like all the trial and error with costumes was turning into something.
>
Then I discovered hand weaving and life transformed an extra loop again. Ever since then it's been all weave and the crafts that stem from this - especially passementerie and the potentials this can take my work in.
>
I want to learn the craft of weaving and passementerie properly. I always been teaching myself and doing things DIY non-stop but now is the time to get it learnt right, cos there's a long way to go :)
>

I'm also teaching myself to code to support this because it's a long journey and I want to last.
And === coding and weaving === go together like two threads.
The first computer software was based on the logic of the loom... :) and the coding will be part of my art practice. I want to use code to be useful and communicate ideas/people in ways that make a difference.
>
I also do lots of workshops and educational programmes, event running and things around that.
