In Your Own Time

"A room which doesn't exist and a room just for us.

A useless room and a perfect room.

A room we'll never use and a room we'll always share.

A room which will change us all and a room in which nothing ever happens.

You were the future once."

In Your Own Time was a one-off durational performance in the Barbican where visitors could come and go, spend as much or as little time in 'the room' as they wanted.

The piece explored personal apologies and public confession - a chance to say sorry to someone you've always meant to and what it might mean to share this in a room full of strangers.
